KEOYOUNG SUN

* We have received reports that chemical/products tanker, KEOYOUNG SUN capsized at Shimonoseki Outer Anchorage, Japan on 20 Mach 2024.

* The Japanese Coast Guard have reportedly mobilised various vessels to assist the vessel but, sadly, it is reported that eight crew members have lost their lives and another two crew members remain missing.

* It is possible that Salvage and Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with the cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
