Report	* We have received reports that container carrier, MSC KATYAYNI (IMO: 9110389) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 300 nautical miles northwest of Vigo, Spain on 29 February 2024. * It is reported that the vessel is currently under tow by tugs towards Vigo where the convoy's ETA is reported to be 7 March 2024. * It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty. * We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
