WESER STAHL

* We have received reports that bulk carrier WESER STAHL (IMO: 9186687) experienced an engine failure and ran aground while departing from Bremen, Germany, on 2 March 2024.

* The vessel was assisted to refloat by up to 4 tugs and was later taken under tow back to the port of Bremen for inspection and, possibly, repairs.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
