Report	* We have received reports that the bulk carrier RUBYMAR (IMO 9138898) was damaged after being attacked by missiles fired by the Yemen's Houthi rebels, approximately 35 nautical miles south of Al Mukha, Yemen, on 18 February, 2024. * It is reported that the vessel sustained extensive damage due to an explosion which occurred in close proximity to the vessel. Fortunately, no injuries were reported to the crew. * Due to the damage suffered the crew were forced to abandon the ship, which is reported to be at risk of sinking. * It is possible that GA and Recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident. *We recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo stowed on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
