DONG YU

* We have received reports that General Cargo ship, DONG YU ran aground near the breakwater of Toyama Port, Japan on 19 January 2024.

* It is reported that Coast Guard helicopters and patrol boats were initially deployed to assist the vessel, but it currently remains aground.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage / and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
