CABO STAR

* We have received reports that RO-RO cargo ship, CABO STAR experienced a fire in the engine room following its departure from the Port of Scarborough, Tobago on 23 August 2023.

* It is reported that the fire was extinguished by the crew and the vessel currently remains at anchor at Scarborough pending inspection.

* It is possible that General Average may arise as a result of this incident.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
