INDIAN PARTNERSHIP

* We have received reports that bulk carrier, INDIAN PARTNERSHIP ran aground on reefs off Misool Island, Southwest Papua, Indonesia on 24 April 2023.

* It is reported that the vessel experienced a severe ingress of water as a consequence of the grounding however the vessel was able to proceed under its own power to shallow waters and drop anchor. Divers are reportedly at the vessel conducting underwater repairs.

* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and/or Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty. To the extent that general average and/or salvage security is required to be provided on behalf of cargo owners, we may be able to assist with the provision of same.

* We recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with cargo on board this vessel so that we may start taking steps to protect your interests.
